About
A sponsorship programme for deserving SPM leavers to pursue their tertiary education at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical degree student.

Eligibility Criteria
Malaysian (Single, 23 years old and below).
Household income RM5K and below.
Must be a full-time Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical degree student at UTP.
Outstanding Academic Achievement - Open to Foundation and Undergraduate students (minimum 8As- / CGPA 3.0).
Active in curricular activities (leadership, community & sports).
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
Not a holder of any scholarship award.

Internship
About
A dynamic platform designed to provide undergraduates experiential learning opportunity and first working exposure in the energy industry and engage in various areas of a global company's operations.

Eligibility Criteria
Application is open for Malaysian citizen only.

Undergraduate degree or diploma from local higher learning institutions where internship is a mandatory part of course completion in disciplines relevant to Velesto Energy Berhad.

Minimum duration for internship or industrial training is three (3) months.
Obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
The following documents MUST be submitted via the application portal:
Curriculum Vitae
Copy of latest academic results
Copy of the Industrial Training / Internship Letter by University (if applicable)

Terms & Conditions
The application is open based on availability of placement and must be submitted three (3) months prior to the commencement of internship period.

Only successful candidates will be contacted for internship placement. If you do not receive any reply from us within two (2) months after your application date, please consider your application as unsuccessful.

About
The VELESTO Trainee Scheme (VTS) PROTÉGÉ Ready-to-Work (RTW) Programme is a key Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by Velesto Energy Berhad, aligned with the Government’s mission to enhance the employability of Malaysia’s unemployed graduates.

Programme Objective:
To provide graduates with valuable, hands-on work experience, equipping them with essential skills, competencies, and exposure to real-world working environments.
To develop local talents through structured training, preparing them for future employment opportunities by enhancing their industry readiness.

Eligibility Criteria
Malaysian citizen not more than 26 years old.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder with minimum CGPA of 3.0 in any discipline.
Unemployed in any relevant areas of graduate’s qualifications.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Offshore Development Programme
About
The Velesto Offshore Development Programme aims to position Velesto as a leading drilling service provider for the upstream oil and gas industry, both in Malaysia and globally. Through specialized modules, the programme addresses industry demands, focusing on developing competent offshore talents to fill critical shortages in the drilling profession. Ultimately, it seeks to nurture local talent, contributing to Malaysia's aspiration of becoming a high-income nation.

Objective:
To train candidates to become competent Drillers or Electrician.
To produce homegrown offshore talents and subsequently would contribute to our aspiration to become a high income nation.

Eligibility Criteria
Malaysian citizen not more than 27 years old.
Degree holder in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering and equivalent.
Minimum CGPA of 3.00.
Willing to work offshore.
