Drilling Academy
Velesto-INSTEP Drilling Academy (VIDA) is a successful collaboration between Velesto Drilling Academy Sdn Bhd and PETRONAS Technical Training Sdn Bhd signed on 19th March, 2014 with a training centre residing in INSTEP premises at Batu Rakit, Terengganu.
The establishment of VIDA is based on the rationale of, addressing Velesto requirement for skilled drilling personal for business expansion, bridging the internal competency gap and succession planning, non-existence of an established drilling institute locally, addressing the shortage of local skilled drilling personnel, and co-branding and relation building with PETRONAS and other oil and gas players.
