Designed for operators, drilling contractors and service companies, the expanded offering combines advanced simulation technology with practical, scenario-based learning that reflects real offshore operations. The Kuala Lumpur facility features the DS6000 immersive drilling simulator and a dedicated Major Emergency Management (MEM) suite, giving personnel the opportunity to train in realistic, high-pressure environments that mirror real offshore operating conditions.
Programs include IWCF Drilling Well Control and Well Intervention Pressure Control, Jacking and Rig Move training, advanced drilling simulation programs covering Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD), Drill Well on Simulator (DWOS) and Stuck Pipe Prevention, Well Engineering, Major Emergency Management, HSE, leadership and safety behavioral programs.
As an HRD Corp-approved training provider, Velesto Energy Academy enables eligible Malaysian employers to claim levy funding for accredited training delivered locally, making internationally recognized programs more accessible while reducing workforce development costs.
