Velesto Energy Berhad (‘Velesto’ or the ‘Group’), through its subsidiary Velesto Drilling Sdn. Bhd., won three awards at the International Association of Drilling Contractors (‘IADC’) South East Asia Chapter Safety Awards 2025 for its strong safety performance.
The Group retained the Best Recordable Incident Rate for Offshore award, while NAGA 6 received the Number of Years Recordable Incident Free award - both for the third consecutive year. Velesto was also awarded second place in the Best Safety Initiative category, a first for the Group.
The recognition reflects Velesto’s continued focus on strengthening its safety performance across its operations.

Held annually, the IADC SEAC Safety Awards bring together the region’s offshore drilling community to recognise and celebrate excellence in safety performance and initiatives across the industry.
