UMW-OG continues with its 2nd Road Safety Awareness Programme

UMW-OG through the Corporate Communications Department recently held a road safety awareness programme for school children at Taman DeCare, Presint 7, Putrajaya.

Already in its second year, the road safety awareness programme saw participation from 60 pupils from SK Jeram Batu 20; one of two adopted schools under the PINTAR Foundation programme which UMW-OG is a member of. Held in a fun and lively manner, the programme is aimed at educating and training the young school children with the appropriate knowledge, skills and practical safety prevention measures to enable them to identify traffic hazards and to also inculcate road safety consciousness at a young age.

Also present at the event were Aminudin Hambali, Head, QHSE, UMW-OG, Ahmad Fadzil Mokti, Senior Manager, QHSE, UMW-OG, Maryam Salwaana Kamal, Manager, Corporate Communications, UMW-OG, Noor Azhar Zainal, Senior Asst. Director, Enforcement, Perbadanan Putrajaya, and also Afiq Azmi, Stakeholder Relations Officer, PINTAR.
