Velesto Energy Berhad (VEB), together with the support of the Hulu Langat District Education Department (PPD) recently completed the second session of its UPSR Mathematics workshop organised for UPSR candidates of SK Dusun Tua, Hulu Langat. The half day workshop was a continuation of the first session, previously held at SK Dusun Tua, Hulu Langat. Guided by a specialist teacher – hand picked by PPD Hulu Langat – the workshop this time around was held at a location away from their school, with the hopes that the different environment will also act as a catalyst for the participants to concentrate better.

In his closing remarks, Tuan Syed Rozhan Syed Hassan, Head, Human Resources, VEB, shared that, “The programme was organised as part of VEB’s CSR initiative to help alleviate the level of education of Malaysian students, especially in the rural areas. We hope that through this education initiative, the participants were given that needed boost for their upcoming examinations – less than two months away.” Also in attendance were, Pn. Nor Hadzlin Mohd Nor and En. Mohd Tamri Abd Halim – both Academic Officers representing PPD, Hulu Langat, and also Pn. Maryam Salwaana Kamal, Head, Corporate Communications, VEB.
